Exploring Color Theory: Subtractive RGB
1. Construct a creative Color Wheel in Illustrator. You want to use custom vector shapes and the pen tool. Identify Primary, Secondary and Tertiary colors on the wheel.
2. Create a Complex Design in Illustrator. Change the colors in the design to utilize the color schemes. Play with the amounts of the colors in your scheme to create repetition, balance, rhythm, contrast and variation:
You may draw something freehand and bring it into Illustrator to play with color. Draw using simple lines and shapes (no shading).
You may use Live Trace for an aspect in the design.

- Monochromatic using Tints (adding white), Shades (adding black) and Tones (adding gray) of a single color
